Biography
The guitarist “Yannis Kapa” is an interpreter, songwriter, composer, singer, guitarist, guitar teacher, music career consultant and a music scout at ifilmgroup
He resides in London, Ontario and was born in 1978 growing up with rock, classic and greek folk music.
At eight years old he started learning classical guitar.
After eight years of music lessons he started composing his own music and participating in other artistic events.
He has collaborated with musicians from various parts of the world for the production of the Compilation CD “Emerging Artists/Into Existence”.
Now he is working on his debute CD album with the name “Waterworks”.
Its compositions have classical guitar and silverflute.
He is currently studying for his Classical Guitar degree and performing for the London Arts Live program in London, Ontario.
He teaches guitar as a volunteer for the non-profit organization Crescendo and he is also a registered member of Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, his teaching website is: www.ykguitarlessonslondonontario.com, he has also performed in various countries such as Germany, Greece, Turkey and Canada.
He is now collaborating in various projects with local musicians in Toronto and London, Ontario such as commercials, the national hero of Kyrgyzstan soundtrack, performing in the movie “Not Ready” by ifilmgroup and other smaller projects.
